Dear friends…

We wanted to personally share something with you. After 22 wonderful years, Mom and I have made the difficult — but heartfelt — decision to close Susansnaps. We’ll be locking the doors July 1st.

This little business started during one of the hardest seasons of our lives when we were in the midst of cancer and treatment, and truthfully… we never imagined it would grow into what it has become.

Whether you’ve been with us since the early days baking out of our garage-turned-kitchen and selling cookies in simple white paper bags, or you just recently discovered Susansnaps through The View, a gift from a friend, or a visit to our shop…thank you.

Over the years, Susansnaps became so much more than cookies. You invited us into birthdays, celebrations, cancer journeys, holidays, new babies, losses, and “thinking of you” moments. We’ve read your stories and gift messages for over two decades, and they have meant more to us than we could ever put into words.

And while this decision is emotional, we also know it’s the right one.

Not because something is wrong… but because everything feels right.

We’re proud of what our cookie company became. It’s truly been an amazing ride.  And, we want to end this chapter the same way we’ve tried to run Susansnaps all these years — with heart, gratitude, and joy.

If Susansnaps ever made you or someone you love feel a little less alone… then our mission is complete.
